Responsible AI Instructor (Creative K-8 STEM Enrichment), In-person, Part-time, USA

Pay: $70 per hour

We're national, partner to bring an Overture program to anywhere in the USA.

Qualifications

• Currently working at a school or community organization OR have a strong relationship with an organization where we can start up an Overture Games enrichment program
• Must pass standard background checks for working with children
• Must be available at least 2 days/week during afterschool hours (usually sometime between 2pm–6pm)
• Experience working with children in a group/classroom/camp environment
• Comfortable using technology in the classroom (laptop, projector, basic web tools)

Responsibilities

1. Teach “Create New Worlds” classes for childrenDeliver engaging lessons to 5–12 students (roughly ages 8–14, varies by site)
   1. Lead a high-energy, hands-on program centered on:
      1. Storytelling + world-building
      2. Critical thinking (characters, game mechanics, missions, maps, rules)
      3. AI literacy + AI safety (age-appropriate, teacher-supervised)
         
2. Facilitate, adapt, and give feedback
   1. Keep students engaged and collaborating (this is interactive, not lecture-based)
   2. Problem-solve in the classroom and provide fast feedback to improve the program
      
3. Come preparedReview our lesson plans and tools (provided)
   1. Use our classroom tech stack (web tools + curriculum) to run smooth sessions
      
4. Participate in training
   1. Complete onboarding + training sessions before leading classes
   2. Join periodic coaching/check-ins as we scale
   3. We will teach you to use AI tools in a safe way with children to help bring their ideas to life
